Purim Celebration
We will be having an in-person Purim event.  I am hoping our younger children in Hebrew School will come in costume, though everyone is invited to come with a noisemaker as we read the Megillah of Esther.
When: Saturday, March 19th at 2 pm
Where: UUCOB

831 Herbert Perry Road in Kitty Hawk

There will not be a Friday Night Shabbat service.
A note from George Lurie: “April 15th is the First Night of Passover (and Good Friday).  Although mask mandates, etc., have been lifted, I feel that getting 40 people to attend a 2nd Night Community Seder was a “stretch”, so we will pass on that dinner this year and plan on resuming in 2023.”

Yom Hashoah Service
We will conduct an hour service that includes reading names of those annihilated in the Holocaust.  We will attempt to also read those who have died in Ukraine in keeping with world events. We hope to have received and judged the essays from Dare County Schools so that the winner(s) will come and read his/her essay.
When: Friday, April 29th at 7 pm
Where: UUCOB
